Peephole: Vacuuming Lady

My old portfolio site is closing down so here are a bunch of old old old photographs, back from 2005. Here is Halifax, 2007, it is snowing heavily and everything is turning to white, lovely!

Enjoy.

Alastair B. and I go for a Walk

Today Alastair B. and I went for a walk downtown to pick up some negatives. It was raining so our furr got all wet, but it was okay when we got to the coffee shop, we had a chance to dry off a bit. I had a coffee and a chocolate brownie, but Alastair B. didn't have anything. He said coffee was not really meant for cats, i told him to take a sip anyway and he burnt his tongue. I told him that he wasn't allowed to have any brownie as it would hurt his teeth. I read him some of the book i am reading and then we left the coffee shop. We walked passed my new favourite second hand bookshop but Alastair B. would not let me go in. (He can't read human books so it's not really that fun for him, I'll come back another time when i am alone). From the bookshop we walked up gottingen st and then up north st to Sobeys, i bought some pesto and pasta for dinner and some smarties. On the way back from the supermarket it was still raining and both Alastair B. and i were walking with our heads down, as to avoid the rain getting in our eyes. Next thing i know, we both run smack bang into a Polar Bear. The Polar Bear jumped back startled, and we all laughed, the polar bear shook himself and all the rain splatter on Alastair B. and I. We introduced ourselves through wet faces, his name is Paul, he is a professor of Modern English at Dalhousie University in Halifax.

Alastair B. and i finally arrived home and took off our coats and now we are nice and warm in our house.

Hustling Halifax in the Cold

Just hanging out in Halifax, its getting cold and dark and so am i. Been taking more polaroids than my budget can handle. I want my kitty back. Today i met a kitty called Alastair B. but he was not very nice, he didn't like being petted and he only had three legs. Next week i am working at a zine library where i get to pet their kitty. jeuj!

French Leonard Cohen hustles and husks in my small speakers, Like a Bird on a Wire, Like a worm on a hump. Tot Ooit.
